October 4th, 2010, we headed out on our honeymoon. It was an unconventional honeymoon, but we sure didn't have the money to splurge to go anywhere real fancy. We decided to head down towards Southern Kentucky and see what we could find. We ended up in Cave City, Kentucky. Obviously, there were lots and lots of caves around here. It was some of the most beautiful scenery also. It may have been rather unconventional, but I sure in the hell enjoyed it!!!
We were both equally happy to get the heck out of dodge and enjoy a nice honeymoon/vacation!! Something that we've needed for a long time now!

We checked out the Lost Cave, which was really awesome!
At Sand Cave where some guy died!! There was longer story that I read, but I don't remember all of it!
Barren Lake.

Day 2 was more of an educational trip, but we learned about all kinds of things that we love, The Civil War!! We visited Abe Lincolns birthplace, childhood home and museum. We also visited a Civil War Battleground, village and museum. We learned quite a few things and got to see a lot of things they actually used in the war. There was actually a General from the South whose last name was Johnston. I wonder if we were some relation. I thought that was the coolest ever!!! We just kept heading North till we hit Cincinnati, where we stayed for the night.
In the Civil War museum.
Day three we went to the Cincinnati Zoo. If you ever have the chance to go there, DO IT!! It is an amazing zoo! There are so many more animals and exhibits to see!! I was in complete awe! Some of there animals aren't even in cages or anything! Like I said, you get the change, do it!!

This of course is me after the zoo, on the way home. I was so exhausted and my poor ankle was throbbing!! But I would so do it all over again given the chance!!!
Till next time...
