It's a....

baby girl!!! We finally found out that Baby Linke is going to be a girl on October 3rd, 2011! We couldn't be more excited! Daniel chose the name right in the ultrasound room! First name's going to be Bailey, but we can't decide on a middle name yet. We have time though, so I'm not stressing!
She is definitely stubborn like her Daddy though. Wouldn't show us a good view of her face. So they tried the 4-d ultrasound to see if they could get any luck doing it that way. She always had her hand up by her face so we couldn't see it!

Bailey giving us a "thumbs up", letting us know that everything is a okay in there!!!

The ultrasound tech asked what her Big Sister's name was so she could personalize one for her too!!! We of course stopped at Wal-Mart and made a picture for Lexi for in her room!! I think she'll love it.

Once again, hand up by her face. I just think she was posing for her "Glamor Shots!"

And of course, the picture that says is all. "It's a Girl!!!"
Now we just can't wait to get this little girl in our arms finally!!! February seem soooo far away still!!!!

Is there a baby in there???

Why yes there is.

And I apologize for not blogging about this sooner, but things have just been so hectic lately, I haven't had time to blog about anything!!! Summertime around here is CRAZY!!! What can I say?!?!

Anyways, as of yesterday 8-18-11 I was 16 weeks. My official due date is February 2nd, 2012, that's right, the day after my birthday :) We officially found out we were expecting when I was 12 weeks and 4 days. Daniel had been telling me for weeks that I was pregnant, but I didn't believe him. I didn't have any morning sickness or any other symptoms. I originally made a doctors appointment at the end of June to figure out what I had bled for so long after my last period. He sent me for blood work for anemia and a pregnancy test. I had this done on a Tuesday. I figured I'd give them till the week after to tell me my results. The Fourth of July fell on a Monday so I had to wait till Tuesday to call the doctor. The nurse told me that I wasn't anemic but my HCG levels were right where they are suppose to be and then asked me for the first day of my last period. At this point I'm think, is she telling me I'm pregnant? She never did just come out and say it, but I think she thought that I had already known that I was. She even set me up for an appointment for an ultrasound later in the month. Even after she told me this, I still didn't believe that I was. I had just got done bleeding for 25 days straight, had no symptoms, could this be true. We went to the doctor on July 25th to have my ultrasound. I went in expecting them to tell me I wasn't pregnant. I just wouldn't let my heart believe I was until I seen the baby or heard a heartbeat. Well low and behold, I seen and heard both. As soon as she put the ultrasound wand on me, there was the Gremlin :) (Daniel's nickname for it) They originally (with the dates I had given them) thought that I was about 8 weeks at that time, well baby was just a tab bit bigger than that, try a whole month bigger. So they pushed me out to 12 weeks, almost 13, and instead of my due date being February 29th, it's now February 2nd!! Our parents where ecstatic!!! I had never seen any of them happier!!! They sure are excited to have their first grandchild/another grandchild. Daniel and I are super excited too. We both are hoping for a boy, but of course will take whatever God grants us with. I go back to the doctor this Tuesday 8-23 for just a checkup I think. I don't think I have an ultrasound scheduled for that day. Then hopefully the next appointment we get an ultrasound to figure out what we are having!!!

Christmas in April???

We FINALLY got to have Christmas with Lexi. She had her spring break this past week so Daniel took advantage and made the two hour trip up to Port Huron, Michigan to get her. She was SUPER excited about finally getting to open her presents. As soon as she walked in the door she was asking when she could open em.
Opening her Baby Alive. She wanted this last Christmas, but they were seriously like $100. I wasn't about to spend that on a stupid baby doll last year! So, we found it this year for like $20. Definitely grabbed it this time and so glad that we did!!! This was her most favorite present I think!!!
This was her reaction after opening her 5th Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster. That's all she kept asking for this past Christmas!!!
We figured it was time to "graduate" from the Barney and Care Bears bedsheets we have for her. So we got her an older pre-teen bedspread. She LOVED it!!!
Espn having to figure out what's going on!!!
Grammy Vickie got her peace sign jewelry. This girl LOVES peace signs.
"OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS SHIRT!!! PEACE SIGNS & MONKEYS, MY MOST FAVORITE THINGS" She said something to that extent while opening this t-shirt!!!
Outfits to dress her Zhu Zhu Pets in.
Hmmm...I don't think she got enough. What do you think?!?
Trying to figure out what she wants to play with first.
Of course, Baby Alive was the first thing she wanted to open!!!

I think she loved her time out here. It just really sucks that we don't get to see her that often. And she kept asking why she can't come out on the weekends when she don't have school. She just don't understand that it is 2 hours there and 2 hours back home. Then 2 hours to take her back home and another 2 to get us home. Where in the weekend do we fit that with Daniel's work schedule?!?! It's IMPOSSIBLE!!! But what are you to do? She will one day understand all of this. We are hoping to get for about a month or so in the summertime!!! Don't know how that's going to go, but we can only wait and see!!! I discussed it with Daniel a while ago now and we are going to let her redo her room this summer if she comes out. We figure she's getting older and it's time to upgrade a lot of things in her room. We will probably let her pick her own room colors even, as long as they aren't too crazy of course!!!

Well that's about it for now. Nothing much else going on in this neck of the woods.

Till next time...

Sooner rather than later...I hope.

First off, I just want to apologize for being M.I.A for a while. I just personally don't have anything exciting to blog about, therefore I find it pointless to blog about petty little things. I have such a doggone boring life and I don't find it necessary to bore others. But then again, if you find this boring and take the time to read it all the way through, then it's your own fault.

Nothing exciting happening on the home front as of right now. The most exciting thing to happen around here is me getting a puppy!!! He was my Christmas present from Daniel!! I couldn't have asked for a better dog. He is 3/4 lab and 1/4 retriever. We had a little difficulty naming him, but we finally agreed on Espn. Yes, like the sports channel. Would you expect anything different from me? It's actually pronounced Espen, for those you wondering. Here is the little guy the night that we got him. I can't believe he was ever this small!!!
He was so small and wrinkly. I miss this = (
He loves his car rides now. Although for a while we had a heck of a time getting him the car to go for the ride. Nowadays he just hopes right on in the car and is ready to go!!!
His first bath. Another thing he wasn't too keen on when we first gave him one. Now he tries to jump in the shower with you!!!
My puppy & I!
Espn and Dad eying each other up!
Isn't he the cutest?!?
He is VERY protective of me. He doesn't let Daniel get too close to me at all!!!

February 1st was my 25th birthday. I absolutely loved the entire day! (except the part about going to the doctor to have my womanly exam done, but it wasn't that bad!) I had scheduled a half day at work that day for two reason, 1. being it was my birthday and 2. I had scheduled my doctor appointment that day also. While I was work our receptionist comes back and gives me a big ole' box. And this is what was in that box...= )
Aren't they beautiful?!? My first time EVER getting roses!! I loved them!
This was the card that came with them. Our anniversary being our 6 year dating anniversary of course. That was on January 29th!!! Gosh did I pick a good husband♥. I am one lucky girl = )

As many of you know, 25 years ago on February 1st, not only was I born on that grand day, but there was an ice storm that day. Of course, 25 years later there had to be a blizzard. Daniel, the wonderful husband that he is, still took me to my doctor's appointment in Perrysburg and then out shopping and then out to eat during all this. This next picture was taken on our way to Steak N Shake for my birthday dinner. This picture doesn't even begin to explain how bad the weather was that day. Thank you so very much Daniel for a great birthday and making it the best if could be with the weather that we had!!!

Very, very soon Maria and Christian are going to be leaving us to go to California to live with Eric. Just thinking about this breaks my heart, I don't want Boog to leave = ( But I realize he needs to be with his Dada. We are very fortunate to be able to spend his first birthday with him at least. Maria decided he should spend it with his family and friends and I couldn't agree more!
Here are some of his 10 month old pictures Maria got done! They are so stinkin' cute!!
I added the captions to them. Made them for Eric = ) He loved them♥
Eric is definitely this little boys hero, as well as ours. Thank you so much Eric for fighting for our country. I pray that God blesses you in everything you do and of course, keeps you safe throughout you and your family's' journeys! I love you and miss you like hell, but I'll see ya soon!

Last Monday we went and had dinner with Donna, David and Dylan. Dylan turned a year old at the end of January and boy I can't get over how much he's grown and changed since summertime!!! He looks so much like his Dad now, it's CRAZY!!! We are hoping to be able to meet up with them at least once a month. It sucks not seeing each other as much as we should!!!
Dylan getting soo big!!!

Daniel finally finished the baby room. And by saying finished, I mean he is doing hanging drywall, mudding and sanding. We still have to paint it. We are still knocking ideas around, but I think we decided on these colors. We want to keep it neutral, therefore no matter the gender the room will be just right for the baby.
We still aren't pregnant, but are definitely still trying! I've only been off the pill since the middle of December so it's going to take a little bit of time. I'm hoping sooner rather than later. I've been trying to change my diet around so I can be healthier for myself and for a baby when I do get pregnant. I've been taking prenatal vitamins for over a month now to make sure I have an adequate amount of vitamins in me for when I conceive. I'm just glad that we are trying to finish the room before we do have a baby, so when we do get pregnant, we can just enjoy the pregnancy and not have to worry about getting an entire room done!!!

Speaking of pregnancy, I just want to send out a CONGRATULATIONS to Jessica, Steve and Ishy. Jessica is expecting again at the end of June/beginning of July. Ishy is going to be a wonderful big brother!! And not to mention, I get another little one to dote on until I get my own = )

Till next time...
