Yes, I'm still alive!!!

So, I downloaded this a LONG time ago, but just never used it since I was still using the computer to blog. Well, as you can see, I just don't have enough time in the day to get to a computer, let alone blog!!! My dear BFF Jessica has been using this to blog more often, so here's my shot of staying on top of my blog!!!

Bailey is almost 7 months old already!!! Where exactly has time gone?!? We just went to see Dr. Forrest Tuesday and he said she is a healthy, beautiful baby girl!!! She weighed 19 lbs (90th%) and 26 3/4 inches long (75th%). She officially has a tooth now too! And as of last night, she started crawling!!! This is way too much for Momma to grasp all in one week! She needs to slow down just a bit!

Other than that, nothing else going on here! But I will leave you with some pictures of my Stinkey Pete!!!

♥Happy Valentines Day♥

Here's a small little photo shoot of our little Valentine!!! Mommy had to them by herself (Daddy was at work) So they didn't turn out like I had imagined, but I'll take what I can get : )

Miscellaneous Pictures

Here are just a few picture from our first few weeks together!!!

Someone apparently thinks they are cool and can sleep like this!!!

She's just too darn cute!!!

Getting her bath!!! She wasn't a big fan of them at first, but I think she's warming up to them!!!

Just a random picture of Bailey all cuddled up in her blanket!

FINALLY getting to meet Grandpa Dale! He was at the hospital when she was born, but didn't get a chance to hold her before he had to leave. (he had to get up super early and go to work and was already tired from being at the hospital all day) Then he got sick the day after, so he of course didn't want to infect his precious Granddaughter!!! After a few days, he finally got to come over and meet and hold her! I think he fell in love!!!

Finally getting to meet Uncle Nick!!! He also was at the hospital (but left before she was born) to get home to my puppy!! Thank you so much Nick for doing that again!!! I was SUPER worried about my puppy the entire time!!!

Uncle Shayne feeding Bailey!

I love that smile!!!

This is still from in the hospital, but it was too cute so I had to stick it in!!!

This is what Espn would do for the first couple of days after we got home. While we would change a diaper he had to be right there to make sure we were doing it correctly. He LOVES and PROTECTS his baby sister so well!!!

Another one from the hospital!

Go Blue!!!

I think she looks sooo much like Daniel in this picture!!!

Mommy and Daddy loving our Baby!!!

Look at those lips!!! I ♥ them!!!

Bailey Grace

January 24th when I went to sleep, I never thought that next day that I would be having my baby girl. I went to bed just like I did every other night. I wasn't have contractions or anything! I still totally thought that she was not going to come on her own at all and that I would have to be induced sometime after my due date. Little did I know that Little Miss Bailey had her own plans!!!

I woke up January 25th around 5:45ish. Daniel hadn't left for work yet. I initially woke up to go pee. I went to the bathroom and when I pulled my underoos down, I noticed that I had a wet spot in them. I didn't think too much about it. I honestly just thought that I didn't make it to the bathroom in time. I wasn't thinking it was my water breaking because EVERYONE said that when it does break, it just comes out like WHOOSH!!! Anyways, I went and changed my underoos and came out to give Daniel a kiss and a hug before he left. He knew something wasn't right. Weird how he senses this kind of stuff! I told him what had happened and he asked what we were going to do. I think he "knew" it was my water breaking, but wasn't 100% sure himself. By this time thought, I was contracting just a bit. Anyways, I told him to go to work, and that I was going to go work, and that if anything came up I would either call or text him. So on to work he went. I went and laid in bed since I still have about an hour before I had to be up for work. I tossed and turned for about 20 minutes and decided sleep wasn't happening for me. I decided to take a quick shower (especially since I thought I peed myself earlier) and when I was getting ready to get in the shower, I had more leakage, but this just went down my leg. At this point I was thinking, this is more than pee. So I texted Daniel and asked what I should do. He suggested calling my doctor and seeing that they thought. I called and she advised to come in and just to get checked out to see if it was my water or not. I texted Daniel back to let him know and he came back home to get me. Then on to the hospital we went...

Once we got to the hospital, probably a little after 8:00, they took me into a room and hooked me up to the contraction/heartbeat monitor. By this time I had NO contractions (go figure) coming at all. Heard Bailey's heartbeat so I knew everything there was okay! They left me on this machine for about 30 minutes (I guess that's what they HAVE to do) and then decided to get me on the table to FINALLY check me. I laid down on the table and before she even put the speculum in, she said "Yep, you definitely ruptured, we will be admitting you!" I was like HOLY CRAP!!! Is this really happening. I thought for sure I would just be sent home like nothing happened. And now I'm going to be having a baby!!! I think Daniel was just as shocked. So, they put in my room and that is where I say for the next 2 days!!!

Waiting, waiting, waiting!!!

By this time I believe they had started my Pitocin. If I remember correctly, (and Daniel is much better at remembering the times of darn near everything that happened that day!) they started my Pitocin about 2:00. The nurses were waiting for my doctor (who coincidentally was downstairs doing surgery all day) to give them the word. And since I wasn't contracting at all by this time, they decided to induce it a little bit. I didn't feel anything for about 3-3 1/2 hours. But once I did start contracting, boy were they hard and frequent. They actually had to later slow down the Pitocin because everything happened SO fast!!! I very soon after starting hard contractions kicked everyone but Daniel and my Mom out of the room. My Mom was AMAZING and God knows I don't think I would have survived without her in there with me! Daniel did an AMAZING job also!!! I am so thankful to have them both in there with me that day!

I FINALLY got the epidural about 7:30 ( once again, that's a guess on my behalf, Daniel can remember better!) but it took them a WHOLE HOUR to get the epidural done. For some reason the anesthesiologists had a problem getting in between my vertebrate. Boy was that THEE WORST HOUR EVER!!! I dilated from a 5 to an 8 in that hour!!! Once they got it in and the pain meds finally hit me, it was fabulous! I was actually fully dilated by about 9:30, but couldn't push at all because Miss Bailey decided she wanted to try to make her wonderful appearance sunny side up. ( and for those of you who don't know, they are supposed to be face down, looking at the floor when they come out!) So needless to say, for the next 2 hours, while contracting, they were trying to turn her rather than make her come out. Once they got her to turn, it was showtime!!!

The view in the hallway waiting for Bailey to be born!!! It makes me feel so good seeing this picture and know that we have all the support in the world, no matter what time of day it is!! Mind you, it's about 11:00 p.m. at this point, and most everyone had been there since the morning time!!!

Once I was able to, I only pushed for about 17 minutes before she came!!! It was only a little bit painful, but once she was put on my chest, I forgot everything!!!

Our first time seeing her!!! I fell in love right away!!!

Dr. Markwood right after delivering her!!! This doctor is amazing!!!

Still in awe of my precious baby girl!!!

Getting weighed! Look at my little peanut!

6 pounds 13 ounces

Getting all cleaned up and ready to be shown off to her family!!!

She's a healthy little girl too!!!

These next two picture are honestly my two favorite picture of the night! (besides the ones of Bailey of course!) The first one is 3 of my brothers trying to listen to Bailey's first cries. They were sooo anxious to become Uncles!!! The next picture is the same 3 brothers plus my Best Friend trying to listen to what's going on. They got in trouble for standing there listening, but once the nurse turned the corner they went right back to listening!!!

The proud Daddy!!! She has him wrapped around her little finger already. (as do Lexi and I, he's just a good guy to all of us : ) ) He has been so amazing with her!! She is so lucky to have him as her Daddy!

Under an hour old!!!

Meeting Grammy Vickie for the first time.

Meeting Poppa Lee!

Proud Uncle Shayne!

I'm totally in love with Rian's smile in this picture. If that doesn't show how proud he is, I don't know what does!

Another proud Uncle Ri!!!

I'm soo glad my best friend was able to come and experience this with me!!! Thank you so much Jessica for being there. You don't even begin to understand how much it meant to me!

Grandma (Momo) Rachel.
Dr. Markwood again!!!

Isn't she beautiful?!?!

My goodness Daniel!!! I love these two with all my heart!!!

Meeting Papa Smurf for the first time!

...and Grandma Margie!

This was the first time my Mom got to hold her. She stayed in the room and witnessed the birth, but didn't get to hold her before she had to leave. My poor Step-Father was such a trooper that night, but Mom decided she had better get him home so he could get some sleep before work the next morning. The nurses were nice enough to let her, Dale and my brother Cody in there the night before just to see her before they left. I wish they could have held her that night though!!!

Daniel's co-worker Tina stopped in to meet Bailey!

And Uncle Cody!! This guy was so scared to hold her. I can imagine why with his size and everything! But he refused to hold her until my Mom just plopped her down in his arms. Then after a few minutes Mom asks, "Want me to take her back?" His response "NO!" Needless to say, I think he fell in love and wasn't expecting to!!!

Bailey and Great Gum!

Bailey and Great Uncle Gary!

Aulora was another one that didn't want to hold her. But we talked her into it : )

Great Grandma Starla was just in love with her too!!! This is her first great grandchild. How I wish my grandfather could have been around to meet her too. I know they are with her though and just love her as much as they would if they were physically here.

Donna and Bailey.

Steve and Bailey.

Jessica brought Steve, Ishy and Sofia up the next night to meet Bailey. Ishy was just head over heels for her and wanted to take her home. She got her first kiss from a boy from Ishy. As you can in the background, Daddy was keeping a watchful eye on Ishy though!!!

Getting fed by Mommy!!!

Getting ready to go home and meet Big Brother!!!

I am so blessed to have such a wonderufl little girl!!! She is the best thing I could have ever asked for and couldn't be luckier!!! Bailey Grace, I love you with all my heart!!!
