Daniel & I took another step closer to getting ready for our big day earlier this week. We finally went and picked out wedding bands. Nothing too flashy for either of us. Just something simple, like us = ) I'm super excited that it's almost here! At some points it seems like it's just coming way too fast, like we aren't going to get everything done, but other times, I feel completely ready for it to be here! We are going to order things from Oriental Trading sometime this weekend also. We are going to get a few decorations, cake cutter and server, just a few odds and ends. After that, there won't be much left to do = )
On Tuesday, after I got home from work, we took a trip out to Maumee Bay State Park. I hadn't been out there in years!!! It was wonderful to go out and do something different Daniel. We walked the entire boardwalk and just took the scenery in. It was beautiful!
Isn't this an amazing view?
A beautiful flower.
Daniel and I
Me up on the viewing tower taking a break.
After we walked the boardwalk we went down and sat by the water. I love just watching the waves come in and out. I think my true calling is to be somewhere near a lake = )
Isn't he so handsome?
Daniel and I by the lake.
After our day at Maumee Bay we decided to stop by Williams Park in Gibsonburg to check out the Veterans Memorial. I've walked by it a few times, but never took the time to really check it out. It's amazing how many people from around here has served in the wars! I definitely enjoyed checking it out.
I love this saying.
"Freedom is not free"
All gave some, some gave all"
We then took a walk on the trail that goes around the quarry. They have all kinds of sculptures and neat little things around it. Back by the war museum, they have a tank from one of the wars (not sure which one or if it was even really in a war), but Daniel thinks it's the coolest thing ever. So of course, Daniel being Daniel, wanted me to take a picture of him being "ran over" by the tank.

Yup, this is the guy I agreed to marry. Can you believe it? But honestly, I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. = )
Till next time...
